Cataract is clouding of the lens of the eye, delay the passage of light. Though most cases of cataract are related to the aging process, occasionally children can be born with the condition, or a cataract may develop after some other eye diseases.
Al Hasanaat goes through a survey process to identify the patients. They are then invited to eye-camps or centres where cataract surgery can be performed. The gift of sight is a great blessing. Donors can give their Zakat, Sadaqah and Lillah for this noble cause which helps restore sight to our needy brothers and sisters.
Wheelchair
In a country where self-sufficiency is crucial to survival, a disability can have a devastating impact on a persons quality of life. There are millions of disabled adults and children around the world who need our help. Looking after a disabled person is a big challenge for a family, when that family is living in poverty, the challenges like earning a wage or continuing education, can become hard to overcome.
We have helped hundreds of disabled men, women and children by providing them with a wheelchair to enable them to freely move around and be less dependent. You too can help today by donating towards a wheelchair for the less fortunate.

Paediatric treatment
The neonatal mortality rate in Pakistan in 46/1000, which is the highest in the world. Even in a city like Karachi, government, private and charitable hospitals are unable to provide quality and affordable intensive care medical facilities to newborn.
Al Hasanaat with collaboration with their partners are looking to provide these life saving equipments and facilities to the newborn babies. The presence of a number of pediatricians and trained nursing staff ensures the quality of medical treatment being provided here which costs £200 for full treatment of a baby. A life saving incubator costs £1500. These treatment are provided free of cost to the most needy and deserving families.
