Fidya & Fitrana

The Prophet Muhammad (saw) said, ‘If anyone gives as much as a date, legally earned, and Allah accepts only the good deeds, Allah takes it in His right hand, then fosters it for the one who gave it as any one of you fosters his colt, until it becomes like a mountain.’ (Sahih al-Bukhari)

“As we enter the sacred month of Ramadan, your fidya and fitrana donations to Al Hasanaat Foundation embody the spirit of compassion and charity, aligning with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Fidya and fitrana, obligatory acts of charity during this blessed month, provide an opportunity to extend a helping hand to those facing unique circumstances.

Your fidya donation compensates for missed fasts due to illness, while your fitrana donation purifies those who fast from any indecent act or speech. Together, these acts not only fulfil religious obligations but also serve as a means to uplift those facing health challenges.

By directing your fidya and fitrana to Al Hasanaat Foundation, you contribute to various impactful initiatives inspired by the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) teachings. Fitrana ensures that families in need have access to nutritious meals to break their fasts during Ramadan. Fidya complements this by providing sustenance for individuals unable to fast due to health reasons.

Your fidya and fitrana donations, guided by the wisdom of the Prophet (peace be upon him), become a source of shade and comfort for those in need. Al Hasanaat Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that your contributions have a meaningful impact on the lives they touch, reflecting the spirit of generosity and care exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). May your charitable actions during this blessed month be a source of blessings for you and those you assist.”

Both fidya and fitrana contribute to empowering vulnerable individuals, such as orphans and the elderly.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also said, ‘The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.’ (Al-Tirmidhi)
