Access to Water
Access to clean and safe drinking water is a blessing that many people in the world still live without. In remote and poverty-stricken regions of India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, families struggle daily to find water that is safe to drink. Contaminated water often leads to deadly diseases, claiming the lives of countless vulnerable people — especially children and women. The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, “The best charity is giving water to drink” (Sunan al-Nasā’i), reminding us of the immense reward in providing this essential gift. When you donate towards a water well or a hand pump, you are not only quenching thirst but creating a continuous source of blessings for yourself as long as others benefit from it.
Al Hasanaat Foundation has taken significant steps to bring sustainable water solutions to those in need. Through your generous support, we have installed over 500 hand water pumps across rural areas of India including Bihar, West Bengal, Haryana, Rajasthan, and also in Pakistan. Each pump provides clean and safe water to families who once had to walk miles just to fetch a single bucket. A single hand water pump, costing only £150, can change the lives of an entire family and serve as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah — a charity that continues to reward even after one’s lifetime. By providing access to clean water, we not only save lives but also open doors to education, health, and dignity for entire communities.

Objectives
Our water appeal focuses on ensuring that every individual has access to safe, clean drinking water and proper sanitation. We aim to reduce waterborne diseases, promote hygiene education, and improve the quality of life for underprivileged families. Through the installation of hand pumps, deep wells, and sanitation facilities, we strive to fulfill this basic human right while encouraging long-term community development and sustainability.
