Sadaqah e Jariyah

Narrated by Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Sahih Muslim)

Sadaqah Jariyah, an “ongoing charity” or “continuous charity,” is a charitable act or donation that continue to benefit people and earn rewards even after the initial contribution.
